Abstract

In the 4th quarter of 2016 the IRG SGH banking confidence indicator (IRGBAN) increased from -12,3 pts to +6,1 pts. The increase was caused by a rise in the balances of the result on banking activity and of profits, and - to a lesser degree - of the balance of employment. Business situation in the banking sector is expected to slightly improve (the forecasting indicator equals to +6,3 pts). (original abstract)
