Abstract

In the 4th quarter of 2016 the construction confidence indicator (CCI) takes a value of -11.1. It is 3.5 pts up from the 4th quarter 2015 figure. Current period is the second consecutive quarter when the indicator's trend is growing. The indicators in the sector of private firms and public enterprises are equal to -10.7 and -12.8. Following the beginning of seasonal decline in the construction industry activity the indicators in the most part of groups of companies under study are also negative and significantly lower than in the previous quarter. Regarding companies classified by size only in a group of companies employing over 100 workers the indicator is positive and equal to 7.9. At the regional level, only in the South-Western Region the indicator is positive and equal to 1.8. (fragment of text)
