Abstract

In the 1st quarter of 2017 the construction confidence indicator (CCI) takes a value of -15.1. It is 1.3 pts down from the 1st quarter 2016 figure. After half-yearly growth in the indicator trend, in current quarter the trend is declining. Due to the seasonal decrease in activity of the construction industry the indicators for most of groups of companies under study are small and negative numbers. The exceptions are the two groups: Southwest Region (including the Lower Silesia and Opole voivodeships) and a group of companies employing over 100 workers, with indicators 13.1 and 10.2, respectively.
