Abstract

In the 4rd quarter of 2017 the construction confidence indicator (CCI) takes value of 8.5, which is 7.8 lower than in the previous quarter but 19.6 points higher in comparison to the figure of the 4rd quarter 2016. For most of the analyzed groups of companies, the construction confidence indicators are more higher than in the fourth quarter of the previous two years. However, the more optimistic situation is for private enterprises - the CCI of private and public sector amounts to 10.5 and 1.4 respectively. The current construction output amoutns to 29.5, which is 24 points higher than in the fourth quarter of last year. Private sector output is almost double than of the public sector. Compared to the fourth quarter of last year, the measure for private sector increases by 31 points, while the one for the public sector decreases by 7 points. In the group of state-owned enterprises the balance of production decreases by 13 points.(fragment of text)
