Abstract
In July 2015 the industrial confidence indicator (ICI) monthly increased by 3.3 points. It amounted to 2.9 pts, and was 1.9 pts up from the July 2014 figure. The indicator calculated for private firms grew by 3.3 pts to 2.8 pts, and was higher than a year earlier by 3.6 pts. The indicator for public firms rose in comparison with the June figure by 2.7 pts to 3.8 pts. It was however lower than one year earlier by 11.4 pts. The industrial confidence indicator increased the highest for manufacture of intermediate goods, and deteriorated the most for manufacture of consumer durables. With regard to the firm's size, the indicator grew the highest for the largest firms, employing more than 2000 persons. The highest increase of the indicator was recorded for the Opolskie Voivodeship. Business situation deteriorated the most, as measured by a fall of the indicator, in the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
