Abstract
The manufacturing industry is continuing to recover after the COVID-19 crisis. The industrial confidence indicator (ICI) returned to the level recorded in February, and is almost equal to the figure of July 2019. The recovery manifests in an increase in production and orders, and a decline in finished goods inventories. Producer prices rebounded. Financial situation of manufacturers improved, as well as their opinions on general economic situation in the country. The only negative message of the July survey results is a drop in employment which echoes the downturn in production reported in March and April. Some of the balances grew on the annual basis. Manufacturers' confidence is on the rise, what should translate into higher industrial output over the next months.(original abstract)
