Abstract

The recovery in the Polish agriculture increased in the 3 rd quarter of 2021. The agricultural confidence indicator grew by 7.8 pts to 1.9 pts. It is now higher than one year ago by 6.5 pts. Financial situation of farmers improved (both on quarterly and annual bases). Expenditure on fodder and pesticides increased, as well as investments in machinery. The level of the latter is the highest since the 1st quarter of 2018. The tendency to increase the share of own resources in financing of agricultural production, which has been noticed for many recent years, strengthened. Farmers expect their income to grow in the next quarter.(original abstract)
