STRATEGIC ASPECTS OF CORPORATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Main Article Content
Abstract
Innovation implementation is possible due to entrepreneurship (to be exact – creativity) of the management as well as employees, owing to whom new, innovative solutions are produced. On the other hand, an enterprise constitutes a real space for the development of entrepreneurship when it is built on “strategic pillars”. These issues concern enterprises of different size, yet they play a fundamental role in huge, frequently supranational corporations. It ensues from the fact that it is very difficult to create in such organisations proper conditions enabling the development within their internal structures of entrepreneurship. Without entrepreneurship, innovation implementation would be impossible, and thus the growth, development, progress and competitiveness would also be impossible (or significantly impeded). Hence all these aspects are closely related. The above issues are the subject of the study, which comprises, based on the available literature on the subject a theoretical analysis of strategic aspects of entrepreneurship, with particular emphasis on corporate entrepreneurship. For this purpose, the literature review within the desk research has been conducted. The review has allowed to develop a deep description of the discussed issues, authorizing to formulation of certain conclusions and recommendations. Based on this review, it can be concluded that, contemporary enterprises that endeavor to compete effectively and build permanent competitive advantage in a turbulent environment should implement various innovations (as regards products, processes, organisation), owing to which the development is possible. On the other hand, by combining in them the entrepreneurship and strategic aspects (which are reflected in the strategic entrepreneurship), the running of the process of identification and use of emerging chances and opportunities is much faster and more efficiently, which leads to generating new values.
