Abstract
In the 2nd quarter of 2015 sentiments of Polish households significantly improved. The IRG SGH consumer confidence indicator (IRGKGD) increased by almost 10 pts (after falling in the first quarter by 1.9 pts). All the components of the indicator contributed to the increase, with a fall in fears of unemployment accounting for the most part. Sentiments of Polish households are in a firm upward trend. This should effect in growing private consumption over the next months. Improvement can be seen almost in all the areas being surveyed. (fragment of text)
