Abstract

The industrial confidence indicator was at -1.5 pt in the middle of Q3 2015. It quarterly declined by 0.9 pt, but was 2.6 pts up from the respective 2014 figure. Deterioration of business situation was reported by public enterprises only. The index calculated for them fell by 11.1 pts to -10.5 pts. The indicator calculated for private firms quarterly increased by 0.3 pt to -0.6 pt. Similar changes were noted on the annual basis - for public enterprises ICI dropped by 12.4 pts, and for private companies it grew by 3.3 pts. Business situation improved in manufacture of capital goods and consumer durables, in firms employing more than 500 persons, and in seven regions, the most in the Opolskie Voivodeship.
