Abstract

In the 3rd quarter of 2016 the construction confidence indicator (CCI) took a value of 2.8 pts, which is 10.0 pts down from the previous quarter, but 7.0 pts up from the 3rd quarter 2015 figure. Usually, a third quarter of a year is a period of flourishing construction activity. Surprisingly, this time all the balances, except for the balance of prices, quarterly decreased. Entrepreneurs' moods are gloomy - the next quarter is expected to bring about a further decline in business activity. (original abstract)
