Abstract
In the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2017 the IRG SGH barometer (BARIRG) increased to +0.2 pts. It is now 2.8 pts up from the respective year 2016 figure. The quarterly rise in the indicator is typical for the time (the average increase equals to 6.1 pts), and was envisaged the respondents of the surveys conducted in January. The long-term average of BARIRG grew again, and is now equal to -9.5 pts. The quarterly rise of the barometer was primarily effected by the expansion of construction and manufacturing industries - the confidence indicators increased by 29.5 and 11.4 pts, respectively, contributing in total 5.8 pts into the BARIRG growth. The consumer, banking and agricultural confidence indicators rose too, by 8.1, 5.0 and 4.7 pts respectively, adding 2.8 pts to the quarterly growth of the composite indicator.(fragment of text)
