Abstract

Published since 1926, the Organization Review monthly journal is one of the leading scientific journals in the discipline of management and quality sciences in Poland. Its publication database, which is available online, contains all the peer-reviewed articles published since 1990, providing a testimony to the changing research interests of the Polish scientific community. In this article, using metadata from 3,217 articles published in Organization Review in the last 32 years, we examine how the scope of research interests of authors evolved over this time – including how the popularity of respective subdisciplines of management and quality sciences changed. Additionally, the institutions and authors who have made the greatest contributions to the journal’s content during the period under study were identified. The results indicate topics deserving increased research involvement, and provide a basis for comparison with journals of similar profile published in other countries.
