The State of the Households : 1st Quarter 2015 Badania Koniunktury Gospodarczej Instytutu Rozwoju Gospodarczego SGH

Abstract

In January 2015 the IRG SGH Household Condition Indicator (IRGKGD) stands at -29,5 pts. Following a series of 8 quarters of improvement this is the first deterioration: the value of the indicator lost 1.9 pts. Out of four components of the indicator only one has improved: assessment of the expected financial situation. Among the remaining three components the most pronounced worsening was recorded in the area of unemployment. At this point it is too early to determine whether a turning point has come or is approaching. (fragment of text)
