Abstract

In the 1st quarter of 2017 the IRG SGH banking confidence indicator (IRGBAN) increased from +6,1 pts to +11,1 pts. The result was caused by a substantial increase in the balances of the result on banking activity and of profits. The balance of employment negatively contributed to the change in IRGBAN. Business situation in the banking sector is expected to slightly worsen (the forecast of the indicator is -2.6 pts). (fragment of text)
