Abstract

Considering the empirical evidence confirming the existence of a strong relationship between the market success of enterprises and the entrepreneurial manager, the following line of research aggregates the habits developed by the manager (subconscious behavior, way of thinking, decisions, attitudes and emotions) as a critical factor determining the company's survival on the one hand, and on the other hand, it implies the possibility of increasing the value of the enterprise in complicated and uncertain operating conditions. The fundamental aim of the research was to define habits – crucial from the managerial entrepreneurship perspective. In the context of the above, attempts were made to develop a research model outlined in the form of a catalog of habits defining entrepreneurial managers (theoretical model), which was discussed among purposely selected field experts. In the empirical layer, the key was to determine the significance of individual elements of the model; a survey among deliberately selected representatives of manufacturing companies in the agricultural machinery sector.
