Abstract

The article discusses the issue of adapting customs legislation to EU standards. The authors show what changes were made for the integration of Ukraine into the European Community, and at the same time justify the prospective directions of improving the customs legislation of Ukraine for accelerated integration with the EU. In conclusion, the authors suggest that digitization, the implementation of EU requirements for the IT system, and the adoption of a new Customs Code in accordance with EU requirements should be promising areas of integration. The research was based on the legal edition as of March 5, 2024.
