Abstrakt

The paper reflects a multi-criteria analysis examining the human development trends and structure, considering correlation between ‘static’ (metaphysical) and ‘dynamic’ (dialectical) human development components. In the first two parts of the paper, the relevant scientific and business experience on the research question is presented and developed. The third part includes our theoretical study, which is based on the connection between human development concepts and their evolution, considering the practice of the knowledge-based economy value estimation within the chosen timeframe. The research methodology examines HDI and HCI common features and differences. The empirical study provides vertical and horizontal research on human development indicators in Europe.
