  • Drawings and tables within the text, entitled, provided with sources
  • Bibliography footnotes at the bottom of the page arranged as follows
  • Bibliographic references within the text (the Harvard style) in the following configuration: Name of the Author, the year of publication
  • Bibliography at the end of article, in alphabetical order: Name of the author, first letter of the Author’s first name, year of publication, title of book/article, Publisher, place of publication

We invite you to cooperation on creating the Quarterly!

These hints will help you prepare your article:

  • The editors of the quarterly accept scientific articles and research reports (up to 15 pages of standardised computer printer / typewritten / text including bibliography) as well as both book reviews, information of conferences, symposiums, scientific seminars (up to 6 pages long).

  • The text shall concern issues within the field of management and widely under-stood professional development. They should meet requirements of top scientific standards: high subject-of-the matter level, relevant and up-to-date problem area, application possibility, originality and contribution in the hitherto accomplishments in the specific field, language accuracy.

  • The article should observe the following layout title, name and surname, and the Author’s affiliation, abstract (summary) of the article (up to 900 characters with spaces) key words (5-7), text of the article, bibliography, title of the article, key words and summary in English, information of the Author (up to 900 character with spaces).

  • The article should identify following parts and elements: introduction with clearly stated objective, main part including theoretical or empirical problem presenta-tion, summing and final conclusions.

  • The text can be e-mailed to the e-mail address of the editorial office: ikl@sgh.waw.pl. The article paper version shall be posted to the address of the editorial office.

  • Meeting the requirements concerning the right preparation of the text and receiving a positive opinion of reviewers is a prerequisite to acceptance of the text.

  • In order to prevent the phenomena of ‘ghostwriting’, ‘guest authorship’ and to ensure scientific diligence the Author shall be obliged to review their own and co-authors’ contribution in to publication (providing their affiliation and involvement, i.e. information on who is the authors of the concept, assumptions, methods, etc. used while preparing the publication) with the major responsibility being borne by the Author submitting the article for publication. Any detected cases of lack of due diligence and dishonesty will be revealed, followed by informing appropriate entities.

In the abstract, the Author should include sections such as:

Aim / purpose - explanation of the articles's purpose, indication of the research problem (research gap) 

Research approach / methodology - indication the research approach, methods, techniques, data used. Briefly presented the research sample.

Findings - indication of the most important relationships, data

Implications / limitations of the study - indication of the implications (theoretical, practical) and limitations of the study

Value / contribution / originality - presented the added value and contribution of the article

Paper type - theoretical / research paper

Abstract should have a capacity of up to 900 characters with spaces and should be written (like the entire article) in a third person. Do not include references to literature or abbreviations that will be expanded in the article. The abstract should not repeat or paraphrase the introduction of the article. Keywords should be included.
