Kwartalnik Nauk o Przedsiębiorstwie  has been edited and published since 2006. According to the Communication of the Minister of Education and Science of December 1, 2021 (on the list of scientific journals and peer-reviewed materials from international conferences), the author receives 40 points for publishing a scientific article in our journal.

Our Quarterly is a scientific journal published in Open Access under license Creative Commons - Uznanie autorstwa 4.0 Międzynarodowe.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

The idea to create the Quarterly was put forward by Prof. Andrzej Herman, then Dean of the Collegium of Business Administration at Warsaw School of Economics and its first Editor-in-Chief. The detailed concept of the journal, both in terms of its content and graphic design, was discussed among eminent scientists and business practitioners . Among them there were: Prof. Roman Sobiecki (later Editor-in-Chief), Prof. Kazimierz Kuciński and Alicja Kołodko. 

The editors inform that the digitization of the quarterly and the publication of issues from 2022-2020 was financed under the agreement RCN/SP/0378/2021/1 from the funds of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for activities promoting science.
