As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Text saved in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
  • If available, provide URL for bibliographical entries.
  • Leading 1,5; letter height, 12 points; italics rather than underlines (except website addresses); all drawings and tables are placed in the text in the appropriate places (not at the end).
  • The text has been formatted in accordance with the author's guidelines specifying the style and rules for making a bibliography.

I. BACKGROUNDS

Editorial Board of the Kwartalnik Nauk o Przedsiębiorstwie accept for print scientific articles and reviews of scientific publications in Polish or in English. The articles are published free of charge.

Manuscript structure of a scientific article

The article sent in shall contain the following elements:

  • the author's first and last name or first and last names of the authors, together with the current degree or title and scientific affiliation, ORCID;
  • contact details (e-mail address, telephone number);
  • the proposed title of the article in Polish and in English;
  • abstracts of the article in Polish and English (up to 2,400 characters with spaces), containing:
    • an indication of the research or theoretical problem being addressed;
    • the rationale for the research topic;
    • the definition of the research objective;
    • the definition of the scope of research or theoretical considerations (temporal, subjective and subjective);
    • research hypotheses, if any;
    • key conclusions from the empirical study;
    • key theoretical conclusions or practical recommendations resulting from scientific considerations;
  • keywords in Polish and English (maximum 5 words or concise phrases in each language);
  • JEL (JEL Classification) codes - minimum 3 codes;
  • Introduction - which is an introduction to the article and contains an indication of the research or theoretical problem being addressed;
  • justification for undertaking a research or theoretical problem supported by the results of the literature review;
  • to define the purpose and scope of the research or theoretical considerations carried out;
  • indication of the research hypotheses made (if they have been verified);
  • description of the test method used;
  • indication of the types, sources and manner of transformation of empirical data (if used);
  • the results of the research undertaken;
  • empirical conclusions, theoretical and practical recommendations resulting from the scientific study;
  • conclusions - summarizing the article and taking into account the key conclusions of the research work;
  • a bibliography drawn up in accordance with the principles set out below;
  • the content of any acknowledgements;

a list of sources of funding for the research carried out.

NOTICE:

The titles of the articles should correctly reflect the content and scientific significance of the considerations and research carried out, which in addition should be consistent with the title of the journal and its declared scope and objectives.

The title, abstract and keywords in Polish and in English should be characterized by full convergence of the translation.

The content of the article and the abstract should be prepared in an impersonal form only.

Abstracts should not paraphrase the title, introduction or conclusion of the article and must be clear and detailed in English.

Articles should be written in a comprehensible language and in accordance with editorial requirements.

The above article structure may be modified only with the consent of the Editor-in-Chief or the Scientific Secretary of the Editorial Board of the Quarterly.

Format and volume of text

Editorial Board publish scientific articles with a maximum volume of up to 30,000 characters with spaces (the standard page contains 1,800 characters with spaces). Articles with a larger volume are published only with the consent of the Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly.

The texts of the articles should be submitted electronically in *.docx format (font: Times New Roman 12 p., interline: 1.5 line; standard margins, no indentations in paragraphs).

All graphic materials - pictures, charts and diagrams should be submitted in editable form in *.xlsx format or in vector graphics formats. They should also be numbered consecutively and described in the main file of the manuscript with their titles and sources.

Formulas and mathematical/econometric equations must be saved in an editable form (in the MS Word equation editor).

Rules for preparing footnotes and bibliography

Final versions of articles do not contain footnotes. Footnotes shall be placed directly in the text of the article in square brackets after the quotation or elsewhere requiring indication of the source. The footnote shall contain the author's or authors' last name(s) (without names and initials), the year of publication and the page number(s), always separating this information by commas.

The bibliography is an integral part of the scientific article. Bibliographic items should always be placed at the end of the article in alphabetical order according to the authors' names or publication titles. The bibliography should be prepared in the Latin alphabet according to the following rules:

Monographs (books)

Last name, first letter(s) of the author's name or institution's name, (year of publication), title in italics, place of publication, name of the publishing house.

Last name, first letter/letters of the first name/names, (year of publication), title of the chapter in italics, in: title of the publication in italics, first letter/letters of the first name/names, last name of the scientific editor (ed. / eds.), number of the volume (volume), place of publication, name of the publishing house, page numbers (p. / pp.).

In the case of the articles in co-authorship, the Editorial Board of the Quarterly asks for the percentage contribution of individual co-authors to the planned publication and signing An author contribution statement.

Before submitting a proposal for an article, please familiarize yourself with the rules of ethics of publication adopted by our Editorial Board.

All texts of scientific articles and reviews published in the Kwartalnik Nauk o Przedsiębiorstwie are subject to the process of independent scientific review, which is carried out by at least double-blind peer reviewers).

The final decision on accepting the text of a scientific article or a scientific review for publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly after reading the content of its review. This decision results from the adopted assumptions concerning the shape and scientific profile of the Quarterly, its publication capabilities, ethics and legal regulations, including those concerning copyright protection and other provisions of general law.

After receiving positive reviews and a decision on consent to publish the article in the Quarterly, the author(s) of the article are obliged to send the completed: statement of copyright and statement on compliance with the ethics of scientific pulications.

The Editorial Board of the Quarterly reserve the right:

  • to make editorial changes to the content of texts sent for publication, provided that they do not affect their scientific understanding and are agreed with the authors (in particular, this applies to the right to change the titles, create abbreviations and adjectives);
  • to reject or refer an article to the author when the scope of the required stylistic and grammatical corrections exceeds the standard of correction;
  • not to publish graphic materials which cannot be printed in good quality (materials copied from other publications will not be accepted).

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the current issues of the Quarterly and to submit proposals for new articles and scientific reviews to our Editorial Board.
