Abstract
Badania nad poziomem satysfakcji pracowników z pracy są coraz częściej prowadzone przez pracodawców, ponieważ ich wyniki mają wspomóc proces planowania efektywnego systemu motywowania pracowników, podnieść ich poziom zaangażowania i partycypacji. W artykule wskazano na wybrane aspekty badań nad satysfakcją z pracy, wskazując na kilka problemów i kontrowersji z nimi związanych. Dokonano przeglądu najczęściej uwzględnianych zmiennych w tych badaniach, które – zdaniem badaczy – tworzą przestrzeń powiązaną z satysfakcją. Wskazano na niewystarczające jeszcze przywiązywanie przez badaczy uwagi do problemu trafności i rzetelności skal pomiarowych, stosowanych przy badaniu satysfakcji. Wskazano m.in. na zalecenie badania i podawania konkretnych danych w tym zakresie (m.in. wartości wskaźnika Alfa Cronbacha) zanim badacz przystąpi do stosowania narzędzia oraz szerokiej interpretacji otrzymanych na jego podstawie wyników badania.
