Instruments for Supporting the Development of Entrepreneurship by Local Government Units and the Model of Functioning of the Local Economy on the Example of Selected Municipalities in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship – Part Two.

Abstract

This article continues the study initiated in 2023 and published in issue 195 of Studia i Prace KZiF. Its aim is to present potential instruments for supporting the development of entrepreneurship in local government units of selected municipalities in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, based on different models of local economic functioning. In the first part of the study, the author analysed three models: (1) applicable in the largest cities of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, (2) in suburban municipalities in the areas of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, and (3) in municipalities located near the junctions of the A-1 and S-5 roads. The current study examines three additional models: (4) in multifunctional municipalities located in peripheral areas relative to the main centres of the province, (5) in other multifunctional municipalities, and (6) in urban municipalities where the development of entrepreneurship is primarily determined by the limited size of the administrative area and the availability of investment zones.
