Abstract

The article aims to assess the level of risk awareness as well as to determine the strength and direction of the impact of the result of the test assessing its level on the selected effects of financial decisions and financial attitudes, among households with low incomes in the Podkarpackie voivodeship. The research results indicate that most respondents have a very low level of risk awareness. On average, younger people with higher education and higher level of incomes, having a higher level of financial knowledge and also understanding better their financial position, show a higher level of risk awareness.
