Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the implications resulting from literature studies covering sustainable strategic management and the business ecosystem. Organizations face new economic, social, and environmental challenges that require an integrated approach. Therefore, companies engage in ongoing collaboration with the goal of interactive and swift response to changes in their environment and delivering special value to their customers. Linking the challenges of sustainable strategic management and the business ecosystem presents new research perspectives. The article analyzes publications indexed in the Scopus scientific database. The adopted research method was a systematic literature review using a query in the database. The most important conclusion from the research is the indication that the combination of the explored issues is rarely addressed in scientific literature, represents a research gap, and the direction of future research concerning economic, social, and environmental stability in organizations.
