Abstract

The goal of the paper is to outline the substance and evolution of customer value co-creation concept. Its first part discusses the idea of customer value co-creation and its substance. The second part pre- sents the evolution of the concept of the co-creation of value and selected perspectives in which it can be viewed. The paper ends with conclusions that open new avenues for further studies, such as, e.g., the explanation of the substance of value co-creation and principles governing relations between the parties involved.
